While you wait for the PPP extension, see if the EIDL is right for you

From its introduction under the CARES Act, the Paycheck Protection Program has been a focal point for business owners in search of financial aid during the coronavirus outbreak. Now that the PPP has stopped taking new applications, business owners must seek funding elsewhere.

If you still need financial aid for your business, the Economic Injury Disaster Loan (EIDL) program remains open through the SBA and has recently begun accepting applications from businesses in all different industries. You can receive a $10,000 grant through the EIDL even if you don’t end up taking a loan!
