American Express introduces a Shop Small program to incentivize local shopping

American Express card holders have until July 26 to sign up for the new Shop Small offer which will refund $5 for purchases of $10 or more at eligible small businesses.
The program runs through September 20 and allows card holders to use the offer up to 10 times for a total of $50 in statement credits. Eligible businesses include brick and mortar as well as online stores.
