Arlington County, VA opening new grant program for small businesses

Starting in May, small businesses based in Arlington County, Virginia can apply for grants of up to $10,000. These grants are aimed at helping businesses bridge the financial gap formed by the widespread shutdowns brought on by COVID-19.
Businesses and nonprofits with no more than 50 employees will be eligible for these grants. The organization must be able to prove that they’ve suffered a loss of at least 35% in revenue as a direct result of the coronavirus crisis. Funds may be used for payroll, benefits, and other operating expenses.
