US. Treasury & IRS moving tax-day deadline to July 15

 

 

With that being the case, experts are still recommending that anyone able to pay by the original April 15th tax-day deadline should do so.

Considering the amount of confusion and concern around the coronavirus, it’s very possible that complications with filing may arise. Add to that the fact that roughly 25% of Americans will wait until the final two weeks before the cutoff date to submit their taxes, and it becomes clearer just how important it is to file taxes as early as possible.

Prepare for tax day 2020 before the due date gets too close.
