After implementing an $8 billion coronavirus response plan earlier this month, President Trump has taken another dramatic step to amplify federal financial support for Americans impacted by coronavirus.

This new economic relief package will drastically increase the amount of funding that’s being distributed to people all across the United States.

Funds will be used to:

Help provide paid leave for many U.S. workers

Boost unemployment assistance services

Increase access to free coronavirus testing

and more

Reports suggest that the White House is currently working on a deal with Congress to push an additional $1 trillion coronavirus emergency aid package into the economy. Part of that proposed package is $500 billion worth of direct payments to Americans.

More updates to come.
