Almost 37,000 businesses in Pennsylvania have received a total of nearly $10 billion through the new Paycheck Protection Program introduced with the passing of the CARES Act. This is surely a ray of hope during what is proving to be an unprecedented health and economic crisis.

While Pennsylvania is ranking in the top 10 states for number of PPP loans and total dollar amount, many small business owners in other states across the U.S. are eagerly waiting for emergency financial relief in the shape of PPP loans.

If the situation in Pennsylvania is an accurate indicator of the help that is to come, then business owners certainly have something to look forward to in the near future.
