A recent poll taken by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce has found that 20% of small businesses surveyed indicate that they remain either temporarily (19%) or permanently (1%) closed. On the other hand, 41% of small businesses are fully opened and another 38% partially opened, so it’s not all bad news after all.

With the question of a second wave of infections still looming in the background, the poll also found that 80% of small businesses are making or planning to make adaptions to cope with the economic changes brought on by the coronavirus pandemic.
