New $6 million grants program in Boston will help small businesses reopen

The City of Boston just announced a new small business financial relief program aimed at providing grants of up to $2,000 that will help businesses cover the costs of protective equipment and other health safety measures they must meet.

Known as the Reopen Boston Fund, the program will roll out grants in three rounds – the first of which launches May 28 at 5pm Boston time.
