Fourth COVID-19 relief bill proposed; House Speaker Pelosi calls it “CARES 2”

Congress is considering a fourth coronavirus relief bill, which House Speaker Nancy Pelosi has already referred to as “CARES 2”. Reports suggest that the proposed bill will look quite similar to the original CARES Act, but with some added features like more direct payments, extensions on unemployment insurance, and specialized hazard pay for essential employees and health care workers.
