45% of small businesses are earning less than half their pre-COVID revenue

In their monthly report on the impact of COVID-19 on small businesses, Alignable released some eye-opening statistics. The effort to recover from the economic shockwave left by the Coronavirus outbreak and subsequent lockdowns has been a tough one.
Nearly half of all small businesses surveyed say that their revenue levels are either half or less than half their pre-COVID levels, and a whopping 42% may not even make it to 2021.
It’s not all bad news though, as some businesses (14%) actually reported a positive impact from what most are referring to as the Coronavirus crisis. There’s a lot more where that came from – get the full report here.
